Congratulations to the GCA Class of 2020, whose graduation marked the 16th graduating class of the Academy. The ceremony, held on May 29 at 4pm, included detailed measures to maintain public health standards, but allowed for a public celebration of this talented group. We're so proud of the perseverance and determination shown by these graduates!
Meet the people who make up the GCA family.
Experience GCA firsthand!
Let's make this work!
Leave a legacy for eternity.
GCA Class of 2016, Brett Emery, just graduated from the University of Tennessee summa cum laude with a major in Honors Neuroscience and a minor in Chemistry.
Brett will begin a one year fellowship in Dresden, Germany, this September. You can read more about Brett in the associated story at www.gcarams.org!
The GCA Ensemble continued their annual tradition of voting for their peers in a variety of categories as the school year concluded. The Ensemble awards are always especially meaningful since they are awarded to students by their classmates.
Congratulations to this dedicated group of students for another fantastic year in ministry through music!
Congratulations to Chloe Duggins, whose graduation ceremony was held on Tuesday, May 19 at 3pm. Chloe is graduating along with the Grace Christian Academy Class of 2020 but is unable to attend the May 29 graduation due to previously scheduled surgery.
We're so proud of you, Chloe! It was a joy to honor you as you move ahead to the next chapter that God has planned for you.
Congratulations to Ria Eda, Cole Hopwood, Hollie Ford, and Ellie Milligan, who placed in the top three in various subject areas in the national competition, Knowledge Quest 2020, held by the National Alliance of Christian Schools. They competed against students all across the country and were tough opponents. Ria, a GCA freshman, earned 1st place in four subject areas!
Distance learning didn't stop GCA Upper School students from continuing to learn as seen in this intriguing project. Mrs. Johnson's Art History students were charged with reproducing a famous painting through photography. GCA sophomore, Jenni Windham, reproduced Vemeer's painting, Girl With A Pearl Earring, for her project.
Way to go, students! You can see more of the projects at www.gcarams.org.
Thanks to the generosity of many who contribute to the GCA Fund, the playground is undergoing a refurbishment this summer! New surfacing under the climbing equipment and new fencing will provide an even safer place for our students to enjoy.
Congratulations to GCA senior, Rachel Flinchum, who signed with Western Kentucky University to continue her Track and Field career at the next level. Despite the fact that we couldn't hold a formal signing ceremony for Rachel at this time, we celebrate this remarkable accomplishment with her!
We're so proud of you, Rachel, and know that God has great things in store for your future!

Jeremiah Roberts (right), GCA Class of 2014, began working with Samaritan's Purse in March 2020 in Italy. He has been a part of the Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) team working in the Emergency Field Hospitals in the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak.
You won't want to miss his story and can read his personal account of his experience at https://www.gcarams.org/our-community/alumni. God is clearly using him to impact the lives of others with the love of Jesus.
