Have you played tennis before?  Have you ever played on a tennis team? Are you interested in playing on a middle/high school team? This camp is for you. We will brush up on skills and get back into the game of tennis, prepare for upcoming tennis seasons, and prepare you for tryouts. We will review the rules of the game, forehand, backhand techniques, services, and footwork, and then move on to the strategy of the game. We will use a ball machine to get a variety of shots of rhythm, speed, depth, short balls, and repetition to help with returning shots. Bring a water bottle and don't forget to wear tennis shoes. Bring your own racket, balls will be provided.

Campers, start your engines! In Hot Wheels camp, racers will learn about forces and motion, build race tracks and ramps, create a license plate, have a balloon rocket car race, a spoon race, and more! This class will be hosted by Ms. Natalie and Mrs. Shannon. Each racer is asked to bring his or her favorite Hot Wheel to race.

American Girl Doll Camp: K-5th

The Biggest Loudest Craziest Cheer Camp Ever!

Come out to a Trolls-themed cheer camp and work alongside the GCA Varsity Cheer Team on motions, cheers, dances, and stunts created just for younger cheerleaders.  The curriculum is focused on mastering fundamentals while having fun! Campers will learn to work together to learn team-building skills and each day campers will be provided with a snack and drink. On the last day of camp they will receive a t-shirt and there will be a parent performance to show off everything they learned all week. Join us for this crazy loud fun time!

Summer Pom Camp

The GCA Summer Pom Clinic provides your daughter with the opportunity to learn pom skills and pom dance routines. We will also play our favorite games like "drill downs" and "Chicken on a Hill". All skills will be taught by the GCA Varsity Pom Team under the direction of Coach Kelsey DesLauriers and Coach Jennifer Feiden. Campers will receive a snack and drink each day as well as a commemorative t-shirt to be worn on the last day of camp. Spectators are invited to attend a performance on the last day of camp to see what the girls learned all week long. Campers do not have to be GCA students to attend.

History is important and it can also be fun! Some textbooks may make history seem boring, but really, it's one of the most epic stories! Now more than ever, it is so important for kids to know and understand history from a biblical perspective. A history camp would be the perfect opportunity to learn history in a fun and engaging way and would allow for many activities that are not a possibility in the classroom. From games to reenactments, to arts and crafts, there are SO many exciting ways to learn and experience history. We have no shortage of ideas and activities to entertain and educate history buffs of all ages.

Star Wars is a fantastic story that opens up so many opportunities for fun activities and lessons learned through a galaxy of heroes. Join us for Jedi Knight training, asteroid field obstacle courses, lightsaber battles, and building your own droid! The good vs. evil theme of Star Wars and the strong positive traits exemplified by many characters allow for character-building lessons in becoming real-life "Jedi Knights". There are also so many ways to serve off the galactic path and into the Gospel, making this a tremendous opportunity.

Calling all players beginner to advanced! This camp is designed for all skill levels. Students will be accessed according to their playing ability and placed in a group that best fits them. We will work on footwork, hand-eye coordination, forehand, backhand training, serving, scoring, and volleys. If you don't have a racket, one will be provided. We will also give all camp participants the opportunity to get involved in the GCA Jr. Team Tennis where they will compete with their team against other schools in the fall. Bring a water bottle and sunscreen and don't forget your tennis shoes!
