Shawn Mehegan

Mr. Shawn Mehegan and his wife, Marcie, along with their children, Maddie, Reilly, and Brendan, joined the GCA family in 2018.  Since being on the GCA team, Mr. Mehegan has combined his passion for Christian education with his love of athletics.  He serves as the Middle School Principal and in 2020, also became the Athletic Director to oversee GCA athletics.

What are your hobbies?
Spending time with my family, reading, military history, sports. I enjoy soccer, tennis, and fishing with my kids.

I have yodeled down the side of a mountain in Switzerland on a sled.

What do you love most about being on staff at GCA?
Being able to share my passion for students and pointing them to Christ. I also enjoy the relationships that God allows me to build with students, staff and parents. Its a great family atmosphere!!

Love God, Love and Serve others, and Share Jesus every chance that you get. Matthew 6:33!
