Micah Watson, Class of 2021

Micah Watson, Class of 2021

"My favorite memory is my first day of school at GCA. I was immediately welcomed and am still best friends with the very first people I met."

How long have you been enrolled at GCA?

I have been a student at GCA for 3 years.

What will you miss most about GCA?

The thing I will miss most about Grace is how my teachers always pushed me to work harder.

Was there a GCA teacher or staff member that had a significant impact on your life?  How?

Mrs. Gouge, one of my English teachers, and my cheer coaches, Coach Mackey and Coach Shepherd, definitely made the biggest impact during my time at GCA. They have all built personal relationships with me and have helped me find my strengths and weaknesses in and outside of the classroom.

How has GCA helped you grow in your faith and prepared you for the next season in life?

GCA has taught me that things will not always go as planned, especially after a year like 2020, but it has helped me strengthen my faith and understand that God is in control.

Do you have a favorite memory from your time at GCA?

My favorite memory is my first day of school at GCA. I was immediately welcomed and am still best friends with the very first people I met. Leaving these people behind will be sad, but I am excited for the future that the Lord has prepared for me.

What are your plans after graduation from GCA?

Although my major is undecided, I plan to attend the University of Alabama. I feel as though GCA has prepared me for success as I further my education. I am so grateful for all of the people God has blessed me with throughout my time at Grace Christian Academy.
