Abigail Breland, Class of 2018

GCA alumnas, Abigail Breland, represented the University of Mobile in the "Miss Alabama 2021" pageant on June 12, 2021.  As the reigning "Miss University of Mobile", Abigail has busy finishing a degree in nursing, traveling on the weekends with a touring group, and serving on campus. 

While at GCA, Abigail was very involved in student activities as a varsity cheerleader, member of the GCA Theatre Department, and as a member of the Worship Arts team leading music in weekly chapels.

Abigail completed her junior year at the University of Mobile with a minor in Psychology, and will begin clinicals in the fall of 2021 to complete her nursing degree.

During her time at the University of Mobile, Abigail has traveled to a number of states leading worship with a touring group from the university on the weekends. She has served as an ambassador to the school and was awarded the title of "Miss University of Mobile 2020-2021".  As a result of this accomplishment, Abigail competed for scholarships and the title of "Miss Alabama 2021".

God has allowed Abigail multiple opportunities to share her platform called "Tru.Identity", described as having confidence in who God made you to be, as well as opportunities to share her love for Jesus and how He has changed her life.

Her mother, Amy, reflected on how GCA impacted Abigail's growth and development.  "GCA was a huge part of making her into the beautiful, confident, and godly young lady she is today!"
