Discipleship

A spirit of growth infuses everything we do. From our youngest learners to our high school graduates, Rams grow through service to one another and the world.

When our founders adopted our school mission to lead, build, and equip our student body, they were reflecting their goal to create an institution that placed faith and character education on par with rigorous academic preparation.

More than 25 years later we welcome students from a variety of backgrounds, and we encourage every student to stand firmly in their own faith. Students are involved in an age-appropriate weekly chapel service, rich with doctrinally sound teaching and a variety of speakers, including local pastors and student ministers.

Currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree in Spiritual Formation, he is committed to continuous learning and deepening his understanding of spiritual development.

MISSION ENGAGEMENT

As part of the mission to EQUIP students to serve God, students participate in meaningful mission experiences and service through the Mission Engagement program.  Students are encouraged and expected to reach out to meet the needs of their fellow students, churches, local non-profit agencies, and people around the world.

The goal of Mission Engagement requirements is to engage students academically and spiritually as they glorify God through service to Him.  Through their service and ministry experiences, students will develop skills in planning, research, communications, service, and leadership.

DISCIPLESHIP DAYS

Discipleship Days are an annual GCA tradition full of powerful experiences and opportunities for spiritual growth for all our students. Parents are invited to attend these services and are challenged to pray for God to move in a special way in the hearts and lives of our students during this special week. Our theme this year is Let It Be Known, referencing Daniel 3:18, "But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.”

RAM AMBASSADORS

Our Ram Ministry Team recently led 4th grade Bible classes, Early MS, MS, and HS Chapels embodying one of our core values of servant leadership. The chaplains have been studying and planning lessons around the theme of "Sanctification" for several weeks. They ministered through music, panel discussions, testimonies, and breakout groups, encouraging the student body to become more like Jesus in their everyday lives.
