Congratulations to the US Ram Wrestling team for finishing 3rd in the Charger Invitational Tournament at Chattanooga Christian on Sat, Dec 18. Individual place finishers were senior Nick Krauss: 145lb Champion (4–0 with 2 falls), sophomore Logan Mavroff: 170lb Runner-up (3-1 with 2 falls), senior Ben Francisco: 195lb Runner-up (3-1 with 2 falls), and junior Ryan Comfort: 152lb 3rd place (4–1 with 3 falls and a tech fall).
Junior Colby Weaver (120lb, 3 pins) and senior Noah Bruhin (220lb, 2 pins) each missed placing by one match. Sophomore Nate Cooper (126lb, 2 pins) and senior Joseph Tullock (182lb, 1 pin) scored points for the team as well. Senior Mason Brasfield (160lb) and sophomore Trent Grooms (132lb) gave it their all, despite not feeling their best. The coaches were extremely pleased with the effort of this team and are excited about the second half of the season.
