Thanks to the careful planning by the GCA Upper School staff, juniors and seniors were able to enjoy a modified, fun annual retreat on September 1-2 at the Eagle Rock in Maryville and on the GCA campus.
GCA juniors and seniors had a fantastic time enjoying two locations during their annual Junior/Senior Retreat. With community health protocols at the forefront of the event planning, students and staff traveled to Eagle Rock in Maryville, TN, for a day of activities on September 1. They spent the next day, September 2, on the GCA campus, enjoying more games, activities, worship, and small group time.
Students experienced breakout sessions, worship services, and a wide variety of activities including cornhole and spikeball tournaments, art, paintball, relay races, and other outdoor games. One of the highlights was tubing down the river with "River Rat". It was a great time of building relationships, growing in faith, and connecting with classmates and staff.
We're so thankful for the careful planning that allowed students to enjoy this time together!
