Junior Caitlyn Perkey qualified 13th in the 200Y Individual Medley to advance to the finals session where she remained in 13th place. She automatically advanced to finals in the 500Y Free based on her seeding. She finished 9th in that event.

Sophomore Caitlyn Perkey will represent GCA at the 2021 TISCA State Championship Swim Meet in Kingsport on April 24-25. We're so proud of her hard work and dedication and excited to see her compete!
Unfortunately, due to COVID restrictions, limited pool access, and a shifted season, GCA was unable to field a swim team to participate in the local KISL swim league this year. Caitlyn, however, has been practicing and competing with her club team and was able to achieve qualifying times to earn a trip to the high school state meet. This year’s meet is being held at four different venues across the state and they will combine results from each location to determine final results.
We wish Caitlyn the very best!
