The soccer Rams saw their season come to an end of Tuesday evening.
The soccer team travelled to the "other" Grace Christian Academy in Franklin, TN on Tuesday for a state tournament opening round match-up with Evangelical Christian School.
The Rams (#4 East) fell to the Eagles (#3 West) by a score of 0-5.
The Rams ended their season with a record of 10-6-1. Congratulations on a great season!

The soccer team is the #4 seed entering the state tournament.
The soccer team completed the region tournament last week.

Thursday, May 13: GCA 0, CAK 0 - CAK wins in penalty kicks
The Rams are the #4 seed from the East region as they enter the state tournament this week. On Tuesday, the Rams travel to Grace Christian in Franklin to face Evangelical Christian School which is the #3 seed from the West region. Game time is 4:00CST/5:00EST. Tickets are $7 and should be purchased via GoFan at the following link: https://gofan.co/app/events/313482. The host school will not be accepting cash at the gate.

Four spring sports teams are in the midst of region competitions.
Softball and boys soccer both clenched wins over the weekend which advanced each team in their region tournaments but also secured them a spot in the first-round of the TSSAA state tournament.
Softball defeated Boyd Buchanan 9-1. Softball will host Silverdale on Monday night.
Boys soccer defeated St. Andrew's-Sewanne School 3-1. The score was still locked at 0-0 at halftime. Scores in the second half came from Lucas Hollifield (assist Hayden Shepherd), Ian Startup, and Devan Coffey (assist I. Startup). The soccer team travels to Webb on Tuesday.
Both the girls and boys tennis teams will be competing in team regions this week. The girls travel to Chattanooga on Monday to face Notre Dame while the boys play host to Collegedale on Tuesday.
Track and field will compete in the region meet this week as well. On Tuesday, the field events and 3200 will compete at CAK. On Thursday, all other running events will be held, also at CAK.

The Rams soccer team won to advance to the region tournament.
The Rams soccer team defeated Berean 2-0 in the district play-in game. Drew Irick (assist Ian Startup) scored a goal in the first half and Caleb Clapp (assist Daniel Silver) scored a goal in the second half.
This win, combined with the weather of the week, has allowed them to advance to the region tournament as the #3 seed from their district. The Rams go on the road Saturday to face St. Andrew's-Sewanee at 5:00PM.

The Rams suffered their first loss of the season but bounced back with a win on Thursday.
The Rams suffered their first loss of the season on Tuesday against Webb. The Rams were outscored 7-0.
However, they bounced back with a 4-0 out-of-district win over Sweetwater on Thursday as part of the Spring Sports Family Night. Lucas Hollifield (assist Art Knight) and Kyler Mauzy (assist Hollifield) scored goals in the first half. Will Paul (unassisted) and Daniel Silver (assist Sam Parks) recorded goals in the second half.
GCA is now 6-1-1 on the season and return to action on Tuesday at CAK.
