Our baseball team has been working extremely hard since last June. Our players have become better athletes, better students and more importantly they have become better young men. I really enjoy being around this great group of young men every day.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of our 2015 state championship team, and we took the opportunity to bring them back for a special celebration. The event was a chance to recognize their incredible achievement and reflect on that unforgettable season.
The 2015 team’s victory is a proud moment for our school, showcasing the dedication and teamwork that set them apart.
The event was a great reminder that the Ram spirit lives on, no matter the year. "Once a Ram, always a Ram" is more than a saying—it’s a legacy that continues to thrive as we celebrate the past and look forward to future achievements.
Here’s to 10 years of excellence and many more to come!

We will have plenty of fun for the whole family, including a face painting station and free admission for GCA & GYS families.

Congratulations to GCA senior, Alex Blackburn (OF/LHP), on being named to the Tennessee Baseball Coaches Association All-State Team! Alex is also seeing success on the Varsity Football team this fall.

The baseball team's 2021 season has come to an end.
The baseball Rams season came to a close on in Chattanooga on Saturday afternoon at the end of a 3 game series with Silverdale Baptist Academy.
Game 1: The Rams gave up 3 unearned runs and fell by a score of 1-3.
Game 2: The Rams offense exploded and the Rams won 9-1. Alex Blackburn and Blake Courson combined for the win on the mound. Offensively, Riley King had two doubles while Blackburn and Ian Setzer record one double each. Blackburn has 3 RBIs while Setzer and Eli Crowder each had 2 RBIs.
Game 3: Rams fell 3-7. The offense showed life late in the game scoring 2 runs in the 6th inning and 1 run in the 7th inning, but the early deficit was too much to overcome.
The Rams finished the season 9-19-1.

The Rams win to advance in the post-season.
The Rams travelled to Lakeway Christian Academy to take on the Lions in a district play-in game. After splitting the series with LCA during the regular season, the Rams secured a 7-0 victory. This win gave them the 4 seed in the district which earns them a trip to the region tournament.
The Rams will take on Silverdale Baptist Academy in a doubleheader in Chattanooga on Friday, May 7 in a best of 3 series. If Game 3 is necessary, they will play on Saturday.

The middle school baseball season wrapped up last week.
The middle school baseball season concluded last Monday.
Navy: The Navy team had a big win over Webb in the first round game to advance to the second round game versus Hardin Valley 7th. The Rams were eliminated from the tournament after falling to HV.
Silver: The Silver team fell to Karns in the first round game bringing their season to an end.
Coach Fitchpatrick said "there were a lot of positives throughout the season from both the Navy and Silver teams". Both teams will take lessons learned from this season as they work to improve in the off-season.

The middle school baseball teams began post-season play last week.
The middle school baseball teams entered post-season play last Friday.
Navy - The Navy team held off Webb to win a close one 9-8. After Webb came back to tie the game, Bryson Bringle led off with a double and eventually scored. Isaac Solomon closed the game from the mound.
Silver - The Silver team fell to Karns in a back and forth scoring game. Unfortunately, this loss brought their season to an end.

The middle school baseball team is approaching the end of regular season and is scheduled to begin tournament play on Friday.
Tuesday, April 6 - Rams hosted TKA for a non-league game but fell to the Lions.

Navy beat South Doyle 17-0
Silver fell to Karns 12-3
Tuesday, March 30
Navy beat West Red JV 7-3 behind the pitching of Koen Peterson and were led offensively by Mason Pike, Isaac Solomon and Bryson Bringle.
Silver beat Halls JV 5-1 behind the pitching of Colton Liner.
Monday, March 29 - Rams traveled to TKA for a non-league game and fall 10-8. Rams jumped out to an early 5-0 lead on the back of Bryson Bringle’s two doubles but a 9 spot from TKA in the bottom of the 2nd was too much to overcome.
Monday, March 22
Navy beat Karns 17-0 - Karsten Peterson threw 3 shut out innings. Bryson Bringle and Grayson Gregory led the Rams offensively.
Silver fell to West JV 15-1 - Wade Edmondson finished on the mound and added a hit.
