GCA's 2019 Varsity football team

The Rams 2019 season came to an end Friday night.

The 2019 football season came to an end on Friday night as the Rams fell 21-45 to Lipscomb Academy in the quarterfinal round of the playoffs.  Congratulations to this team on an outstanding season!

The Rams advance in the playoffs with win over Goodpasture.

GCA hosted Goodpasture Christian School on Friday night in the first round of the playoffs.  It was a cold night and the Rams got off to a slow start, but they were able to recover and earn the right to keep playing.  In a tough fought battle, GCA outlasted Goodpasture in the 4th quarter to win 35-20.

With the win, GCA advances in the playoffs and will play host to Lipscomb Academy this Friday, November 15 at 7:00 at the Disney Family Sports Complex on the GCA campus.

GCA Junior, Cooper Riggs, Nominated for Tennessee Titans Mr. Football Award

Congratulations to GCA Junior, Cooper Riggs, on his nomination as a 2019 Mr. Football semifinalist.  This prestigious nomination is given based on the athletic performance during regular season play, academics, and character.  The five semifinalists in each of the state's nine classifications will be reduced to three finalists per class on Nov. 19.

Coach Rusty Bradley Named Tennessee Titans Coach of the Week

Head Football Coach Rusty Bradley has been named Tennessee Titans Coach of the Week for November 1.  Congratulations, Coach Bradley!

Congratulations to Varsity Head Football Coach, Rusty Bradley, on being named Tennessee Titans Coach of the Week after the Rams' victory over Boyd Buchanan to win the Region Championship.

As part of the reward for winning the Titans Coach of the Week honors, the GCA football program will be receiving a $1000 grant to spend at the school's discretion to benefit the football program.

The Rams head into week one of the state tournament on Friday, November 8 as they face Goodpasture at home beginning at 7pm.  The Ram's current record is 8-2, and we're excited to see this hard-working team advance!

GCA RAMS Varsity Football Team Wins Region Championship

Congratulations to the Rams Football team who are Region Champions after their win against Boyd Buchanan High School!  

The GCA Varsity Football Team clinched the title of Region Champions after their victory against Boyd Buchanan on Friday, Nov. 1. The Rams had a decisive victory with a final score of 50-7 in their last regular season game.  The Rams will host Goodpasture on Friday, November 8 at home in the first round of play-offs. 

We're so excited to see the great efforts from this team as they continue to move forward in the series.  Congratulations, RAMS!
