Congratulations to First Baptist Academy student and GCA Co-op Football player, Kadell Robinson, who just signed to continue his football career at Union College after graduation! Kadell is one of two co-op students who played for the Rams and who have committed to play at the collegiate level. Jackson Witt also played for the Rams and has signed to play football with Maryville College.
It's our privilege to allow student-athletes to play for the Rams through an established co-op program. We're so proud of you, Kadell!

The football team has had a weird month with two bye dates and two games.
September 24 - Rams fall short against Notre Dame in their first region match-up, 6-7. The lone Rams score of the night came on a 74-yard pass play from Pierce Browning to Kadell Robinson. Dylan Doerfler and Joey Boudreaux led the Ram defense recording 11 tackles each.
September 10 - The Rams almost made a 4th quarter comeback but came up short against The King's Academy, 20-22. Riley King rushed for a 2 yard touchdown in the first half. Midway through the 4th quarter, Alex Blackburn recovered a blocked punt (Jackson Eller) for a touchdown. With two minutes remaining, Jake Boudreaux connected with Kadell Robinson on a 46-yard touchdown pass. Alex Blackburn led the Ram defense with 11 tackles with Ben Francisco recording 9 tackles.

My biggest focus as Head Coach is continuing to get this group to buy into each other. It's amazing what can be accomplished when no one cares who gets the credit.
