RAMS BASKETBALL
The GCA boys basketball program continues to build on its long storied success post 2018 State Championship. A fast and intense pace on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball have been a long standing staple for the Rams basketball program. The Rams continue to compete at the highest level of high school boys basketball, most recently claiming a regular season district championship.

Cameron Mercer and John Martin have been named All-District and All-Region honorees, recognizing their outstanding performances and leadership on the court this season.
Mercer and Martin have been instrumental in the Rams' success this season. Their hard work and commitment to excellence have set them apart as two of the top players in the district and region.

Marcus Dilligard
Athletic Director & Head Mens Basketball Coach
Marcus Dilligard is the Head Mens Basketball Coach and Athletic Director. The Rams’ coach previously coached boys basketball at Carolina Christian School and then Victory Christian Center School, where he led the team to the NCISAA Class 1A State Championship (2021), the NACA Division 2 National Championship (2020) and the 2018 USA National Prep High School Basketball Championship.
Dilligard transitioned to NAIA Division I basketball at the University of the Cumberlands, where he assisted the team in making their ninth consecutive NAIA National Tournament.
As a player, Coach Dilligard was a four-year starting forward at Furman from 1997-2001. He had a professional basketball career overseas, earning player of the year honors as well as representing Uruguay on its all-star team.
