    STATE CHAMPS

History was made this season as our High School Men’s Soccer Team captured their first-ever TSSAA DII-A State Championship with a dominant 3-0 win over Webb on May 22, 2025, at the Richard Siegel Soccer Complex. The Rams finished with an outstanding 17-1 overall record, scoring 113 goals and allowing just 11 all season. They fired 464 shots (276 on goal) while limiting opponents to only 88 shots total—just 4.4 per game. In the postseason, the team outscored their opponents 20-1, allowing only one goal (in the region semifinals) and shutting out every team in the state tournament.

This historic run earned GCA the #1 state ranking across all divisions and a #5 national ranking from MaxPreps. Beyond the team’s incredible success, there were dozens of individual postseason honors awarded to our players, highlighting the depth of talent on this championship roster. We’re also proud to celebrate Coach Isaac Brooks, who was named both the District Coach of the Year and Knoxville Focus Coach of the Year. Congratulations to our Rams on a record-setting, title-winning season!
