From beginning classes in fifth grade to our esteemed High School drumline, GCA offers multiple opportunities for students of all skill levels to explore and advance their artistry in wind and percussion instruments. Whether our Rams are performing in a concert or at a Friday night football game, our award winning program focuses on providing students with a broad range of experiences and opportunities necessary to thrive and achieve their highest potential.

BAND/WINDS

Our winds featuring: flute, clarinet, saxophones, horn, trumpet, trombone, baritone, and tuba are always ready to bring excitement to both home and away games for the GCA Rams football team and fans.

Concert Band

 

The GCA Concert Band is comprised of 6-12 grade students who have prior experience playing a wind or percussion instrument. The Concert Band meets during fourth period and performs four concerts per year, including the Large Group Performance Evaluation administered by the Tennessee Music Educators Association. Students in this ensemble are eligible to audition for the District 13 Honor Band and the Tennessee All-State Band.

COLOR GUARD

During the fall season our performers have the opportunity to participate in our Marching Band program. Join us as we glorify God by presenting the world of performing arts to the athletic world! 

 

WINTER GUARD

Grace Christian Fierce Independent Regional A and Independent AA are members of the East Tennessee Performing Arts Association (ETPAA). Our teams compete locally in ETPAA and nationally in WGI. Anyone ages 9-22 is welcome to join one of our competitive teams!
