GCA HYBRID PROGRAM

The GCA Hybrid Program serves an emerging market of families desiring a nontraditional option of education but also desiring fellowship and Christian education with comprehensive offerings in academics, arts, and athletics. GCA Hybrid delivers expert instruction five days a week through two on-campus learning days and three flexible learning days crafted by certified Hybrid teachers all from a Biblical Worldview. On flexible (or flex) learning days, families have the option to asynchronously complete instruction remotely, allowing more flexibility in the schedule of their day. Families will receive extensive ongoing support to ensure that the instruction from Hybrid teachers flows smoothly on flexible learning days. The strategically selected curriculum included with tuition is planned and presented by GCA Hybrid teachers in such a way that it ensures academic excellence and Biblical Worldview alignment. It simultaneously fosters a joy of interactive, hands-on learning while providing extensive support as well. Our Hybrid Program serves grades 1st-8th for the 2025-26 school year.  We are expanding to serve K-11th grade for the 2026-27 school year.  Applications are being accepted now!

PROGRAM INFORMATION

SCHEDULE

Schedule:

  • On campus classes offered two days per week from 8:15 am - 2:45 pm taught by a certified instructor
  • Three days a week will be at-home flexible learning days with instruction crafted by the hybrid teacher.  Families should expect 6 accumulated hours of instruction per day.

Additional details:

  • All core subject areas will be taught (ELA, Math, Social Studies, Science, and Bible plus a special elective course)
  • Combined classes for 1st/2nd and 3rd/4th grades. Kindergarten as well as 5th-8th grades will each have individual grade-level classes.  9th-11th will have core course specific individual classes.
  • Hybrid students will attend Elementary, Middle, or High School chapels together weekly with Traditional GCA students

ACCREDITATION & EXTRACURRICULAR OPPORTUNITIES

Accreditation:

  • This program will become fully accredited with ACSI
  • ACSI accreditation standards will be used to select curriculum

 

Extracurricular Opportunities:

  • Art, Music, and PE available for each elementary grade level. Art and Music classes also available for 5th-11th
  • Athletic opportunities vary by grade level. 
  • Grace Performing Arts Center and Grace Youth Sports program opportunities available
