A Purposeful Plan

DISTINCTIVELY CHRISTIAN

At Grace Christian Academy, we are committed to nurturing the spiritual growth of our students through a holistic and interconnected approach. Recognizing that spiritual development is a lifelong journey deeply rooted in a relationship with God and a supportive community, we aim to create an environment where students can flourish in their faith.

Students in Kindergarten through grade 12 are involved in an age-appropriate weekly chapel service, rich with doctrinally sound teaching.  With a variety of speakers, including local pastors and student ministers, chapel services are purposely and strategically planned.

COMMUNITY & CONNECTEDNESS

Our school environment fosters a sense of community and interconnectedness, where spiritual growth is supported by relationships with others. Through various activities such as clubs, houses, sports, group projects, and service initiatives, students form meaningful connections that enhance their spiritual journey. We promote intentional spiritual formation through guided discussions, advisory groups, and mentorship programs, recognizing that mutual support and influence are vital to spiritual development.

A NURTURING ENVIRONMENT

We strive to create a nurturing environment akin to a greenhouse, where students are cared for, encouraged, and challenged to grow in their faith. This environment is not about isolating students but equipping them to thrive in the world. We aim to cultivate a space where students can develop strong roots in their faith, grow in their spiritual gifts, and bear fruit that reflects God's love and truth.

By intentionally fostering an interconnected community and providing a supportive and enriching environment, we prepare our students to face the world with a strong, resilient faith. Our goal is to send them out as well-rounded individuals who are ready to live out their faith boldly and compassionately in a culture that often challenges Christian values.

Our Philosophy

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: KNOWING THEIR FAITH

For our youngest learners, the focus is on knowing their faith. We provide a solid foundation of biblical knowledge and understanding, helping children to build a relationship with God and develop a basic grasp of Christian principles. Through age-appropriate lessons, worship, and activities, we encourage curiosity and a love for God.

CHAPEL (EVERY THURSDAY):
8:15 - 8:45 AM

MIDDLE SCHOOL: OWNING THEIR FAITH

As students transition to middle school, our goal is for them to own their faith. This stage is about moving beyond foundational knowledge to developing a personal and intimate relationship with God. We emphasize personal responsibility, encouraging students to explore their beliefs, ask questions, and form a deeper understanding of their faith.

CHAPEL (EVERY THURSDAY):
EARLY MIDDLE: 9:00 - 9:40 AM
MIDDLE: 11:55 - 12:40 PM

HIGH SCHOOL: LIVING OUT THEIR FAITH

In high school, we aim for students to live out their faith actively. This involves embodying Christian principles in daily life, demonstrating their beliefs through actions, and serving others. We provide opportunities for leadership, service, and real-world application of faith, preparing students to be ambassadors for Christ in an ever-changing world.

CHAPEL (EVERY THURSDAY):
10:40 - 11:35 AM

"Whether I'm at chapel, BTC, or in the classroom, Christ is always incorporated and prioritized. The faculty and staff have poured into me in all aspects of my walk with Christ."
